To accomplish weight saving of a saddle-riding type vehicle in a rear wheel suspension structure that has a linkage mechanism.SOLUTION: A rear wheel suspension structure includes: a vehicle body frame 10; a power unit 20 mounted on the vehicle body frame 10; a swing arm 41 which is provided so as to be able to swing relative to the vehicle body frame 10 and which supports a rear wheel 3; a rear cushion 46 that applies swing reaction force to the swing arm 41; and a linkage mechanism 50 which couples the rear cushion 46 and the swing arm 41 to each other and which is rotatably supported by the power unit 20 independently from the vehicle body frame 10 so as to be able to swing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
