To provide a wheel cap fitting structure which can easily cover a recess of a wheel, and which does not allow entanglement of long objects between the wheel cap and an axle.SOLUTION: A caster 1 used in an agricultural work machine comprises: a wheel 2 to which a tire 4 attached by adjusting an air pressure is mounted; an axle 3 inserted in a shaft hole 24 of the wheel 2; an axle support plate 52 provided on the left and right of an axle support arm 5 for rotatably supporting the axle 3; and a wheel cap 6 which covers a side face of the wheel 2. In the state that the wheel cap 6 is accommodated in a recess 22 provided in the side face of the wheel 2, the wheel cap 6 is fixed to the axle support plate 52 by a bolt 66 in an area of the recess 22 of the wheel 2. An opening 64 for introducing air into an air valve 41 is formed in a cover face 62 of the wheel cap 6, and can be covered with a lid part 65.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】簡単にホイールの凹部を覆うことができるとともに、ホイールキャップと車軸との間に長尺物を絡ませないようにしたホイールキャップの取り付け構造を提供する。【解決手段】農作業機に使用されるキャスター1であって、空気圧を調整して取り付けられるタイヤ4を装着するホイール2と、当該ホイール2の軸穴24に挿入される車軸3と、当該車軸3を回転可能に支持する車軸支持アーム5の左右に設けられた車軸支持プレート52と、前記ホイール2の側面を覆うホイールキャップ6と、を備え、前記ホイールキャップ6を前記ホイール2の側面に設けられた凹部22に収容させた状態で、当該ホイールキャップ6を、前記ホイール2の凹部22の領域内で前記車軸支持プレート52にボルト66で固定させるようにする。そして、ホイールキャップ6のカバー面62に、空気バルブ41に空気を入れるための開口部64を形成し、蓋部65で覆えるようにしておく。【選択図】図1
