To provide a suspension member of square frame shape, capable of avoiding stress concentration at a junction part of a skeleton member forming a frame shape.SOLUTION: At a side surface of a side member 28 forming a skeleton member on the right and left of a suspension member, an end part of a rear cross member 32 forming a skeleton member on the rear side is jointed. At the end part of the rear cross member 32, a notched part 60 is formed at a corner part of the end face. By the notched part 60, a stress of the end part on the side nearer to the notched part 60 of welded parts 56 and 58 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5

    【課題】方形枠形状のサスペンションメンバにおいて、枠形状を形成する骨格部材の接合部分における応力集中を避ける。【解決手段】サスペンションメンバの左右の骨格部材を形成するサイドメンバ28の側面に、後側の骨格部材を形成するリヤクロスメンバ32の端部が接合している。リヤクロスメンバ32の端部において、端面の角部に切り欠き60が形成されている。切り欠き60により、溶接部56,58の、切り欠き60に近い側の端部の応力が低減される。【選択図】図5
