To provide a vehicle sound absorption material that can improve sound absorption performance while following restrictions on installation space, and can improve sound absorption efficiency by setting sound absorption properties in accordance with an installation place.SOLUTION: Provided is a vehicle sound absorption material 10 arranged between a sound source of a vehicle 2 and a space in a cabin 4 and formed in a plate shape that absorbs a sound wave W from the sound source to prevent transmission to the space in the cabin 4. A plurality of spherical portions 20 protruding toward the space in the cabin 4 are provided on an identical plane. The spherical portions 20 have their radius and depth set in accordance with frequency characteristics of the sound wave W from the sound source to be absorbed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】設置スペースの制約を守りながら吸音性能を向上させることができ、しかも、設置箇所に応じて吸音特性を設定して吸音効率を向上させることが可能な車両用吸音材を提供する。【解決手段】車両2における音源と車室4内の空間との間に配置され、音源からの音波Wを吸音して車室4内の空間への伝達を抑制する板状に形成された車両用吸音材10であって、車室4内の空間側に突出する複数の球形状部20が同一平面上に設けられ、球形状部20は、その半径及び深さが、吸音対象となる音源からの音波Wの周波数特性に応じて設定されている。【選択図】図4
