To improve the efficiency of utilizing an automatic valet parking lot.SOLUTION: An automatic valet parking system includes: a space-for-attention setting unit that sets a space-for-attention, which is a parking space surrounding a target parking space where the presence of another vehicle entering or leaving a parking space affects the entry of the entering vehicle; and a vehicle instruction unit that waits until all vehicles-for-attention, which are automatic vehicles entering or leaving the space-for-attention, are determined to have entered or left the parking space, and then gives an instruction to the entering vehicle to start entering the parking space based on the vehicle information when it is determined that there are the vehicles-for-attention in the space-for-attention. Even if there is a vehicle-not-for-attention, which is an automatic vehicle entering or leaving the parking space other than the space-for-attention, the vehicle instruction unit does not wait until the vehicle-not-for-attention has entered or left the parking space, and then gives an instruction to the entering vehicle to start entering based on vehicle information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
