To provide a speedometer using a sound capable of constantly transmitting information on acceleration and deceleration of a vehicle to a driver of the vehicle even when viewing a speedometer requiring visual observation is reduced by providing acceleration information to the driver using sound.SOLUTION: A vehicle increases in speed at positive acceleration, decreases in speed at negative acceleration, and reaches constant speed travelling at zero acceleration. Further, since the acceleration has magnitude, the magnitude is indicated by changing sound pressure and output frequency of a musical in proportion to the magnitude, and speed information is transmitted to a driver by differentiating tone color for each of speed ranges and by differentiating between positive and negative acceleration of the vehicle by difference of the music.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】音を用いて加速度情報を運転者に提供することで、目視を必要とする速度計を見ることを少なくしても、車両の運転者に車両の加速や減速の情報を絶えず伝えることができる音を用いた速度計を提供する。【解決手段】車両は正の加速度で速度が上昇し、負の加速度で速度が減少し、加速度がゼロで定速走行になる。更に、加速度には大きさがあるため、この大きさに比例して楽曲の音圧や出力頻度を変えることで大きさを示し、速度範囲ごとに音色を異にし、車両の加速度の正と負を楽曲の違いで区別して、運転者に速度情報を伝える。【選択図】図3
