To provide alternative deceleration travel means which solves low motion energy regenerative efficiency and deterioration of battery life by excessive charge/discharge frequency based upon regenerative which are problems of conventional regenerative cooperation braking travel in an electric vehicle.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle is configured so that deceleration/braking travel to a stationary deceleration/stop target point such as a cross point etc. pre-specified intersection, etc. is performed on an inertia travel subject (inertia travel +braking travel) from a specific point corresponding to motion energy utilization efficiency within an upstream inertia travel possible distance range of the deceleration/stop target point corresponding to travel speed at deceleration travel start of a vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
