To provide an evaluation method for durability of a tire and an evaluation device for durability of a tire, enabling accurate prediction of speed at which the tire fails.SOLUTION: A method 100 for evaluating durability of a tire includes: a first step S1 of continuously or stepwise increasing rotational speed of a drum while driving the tire on a drum rotationally driven by a motor; a second step S2 of detecting electric power of the motor in operation in the first step S1; a third step S3 of calculating a change rate of electric power with respect to the rotational speed; and a fourth step S4 of predicting speed at which the tire fails based on the change rate of electric power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
