To expand a cabin space in a vehicle widthwise direction, and to accomplish an interior design with a continuity from a door to an instrument panel.SOLUTION: A door recess 13 concaved outwardly in a vehicle widthwise direction is formed in the upper part of the internal wall surface of a door 1 with the door 1 being closed. An operation component 12 that allows a person in a vehicle 20 to actuate the latch of the door 1 so as to unlock the door 1 is provided inside the door 1 at a position avoiding the door recess 13. The door recess 13 is formed in a shape such that a curved surface concaved in the vehicle widthwise direction is continuous in a back-and-forth direction with the door 1 being closed, and extends up to the front end of the internal wall surface of the door 1. An instrument panel recess 21 formed in a shape such that a curved surface concaved toward the front side is continuous in the vehicle widthwise direction is formed in an instrument panel 2. A ridge line 21a of the upper end of the instrument panel recess 21 is continuous with a ridge line 13a of the upper end of the door recess 13.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車室空間を車両幅方向に拡大すると共に、ドアからインストルメントパネルまで連続性のある内装の意匠を実現する。【解決手段】ドア1の内壁面の上部に、ドア1を閉じた状態で車両幅方向外側へ向かって凹んだドア凹部13が形成され、ドア1の内側には、ドア凹部13を避けた位置に、車両20の乗員がドア1のラッチを動作させてドア1のロックを解除できる操作器具12が設けられており、ドア凹部13は、ドア1を閉じた状態で、車両幅方向へ向かって凹むように湾曲した曲面が前後方向に連続する形状を有し、ドア1の内壁面の前端まで延びており、インストルメントパネル2には、前方へ向かって凹むように湾曲した曲面が車両幅方向に連続する形状を有するインパネ凹部21が形成されており、インパネ凹部21の上端の稜線21aがドア凹部13の上端の稜線13aと連続している。【選択図】図1
