To provide a vehicle front section structure which can be made a structure capable of more surely absorbing an impact load at a vehicle center portion, in particular, by an impact load applied from a vehicle front side.SOLUTION: A front face section 9a and a top face section of an impact absorption member 9 are connected by an inclined face 9d inclined forward. The front face section 9a and a bottom face section of the impact absorption member 9 are connected by an inclined face 9e inclined forward and formed. A gap section G is provided between the impact absorption member 9 and a bumper member 7. A front face section 9c of the impact absorption member 9 projects forward toward a center side in a vehicle width direction in a plan view.
