To suppress the peak of power consumption of a communication device.SOLUTION: A communication device 10 is mounted on a vehicle. The communication device 10 includes: a first wireless communication unit 12 that communicates with the inside of the vehicle; a second wireless communication unit 14 that communicates with the outside of the vehicle; and a control unit 30 that performs control so that communication by the first wireless communication unit 12 and communication by the second wireless communication unit 14 do not overlap. As a result, peaks of power consumption of the communication device 10 can be suppressed, and a built-in battery 34 provided in the communication device 10 can be miniaturized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
