To provide a wireless communication device capable of starting wireless communication easily and quickly with respect to a ship found by visual inspection without keeping an eye on the ship.SOLUTION: A wireless communication device 1 includes a direction sensor 33, an own device position acquiring section 12, an AIS information acquiring section 11, a ship specifying section 15a, and a wireless communication section 13. The direction sensor 33 is disposed in a handset terminal 30 having a microphone 32 for voice communication and detects a direction pointed by the handset terminal 30. The own device position acquiring section 12 acquires the position of the own device. The AIS information acquiring section 11 acquires a position and MMSI of a ship existing around the own device. The ship specifying device 15a specifies the ship existing in the direction pointed by the handset terminal 30 on the basis of the direction detected by the direction sensor 33, the position of the own device and the position of the other ship. The wireless communication section 13 transmits a call signal by a DSC to the ship specified by the ship specifying device 15a using the MMSI acquired by the AIS information acquiring section 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】目視で見つけた船舶に対して簡単、短時間、かつ当該船舶から目を離すことなく無線通信を開始可能な無線通信機を提供する。【解決手段】無線通信機1は、方位センサ33と、自機位置取得部12と、AIS情報取得部11と、船舶特定部15aと、無線通信部13と、を備える。方位センサ33は、音声通話用のマイク32を有するハンドセット端末30に配置され、当該ハンドセット端末30が指す方位を検出する。自機位置取得部12は、自機の位置を取得する。AIS情報取得部11は、自機の周囲に存在する船舶の位置及びMMSIを取得する。船舶特定部15aは、方位センサ33が検出した方位と、自機の位置と、他船の位置と、に基づいて、ハンドセット端末30が指す方位に存在する船舶を特定する。無線通信部13は、船舶特定部15aが特定した船舶に対して、AIS情報取得部11が取得したMMSIを用いてDSCによる呼出信号を送信する。【選択図】図1
