To measure a road surface friction coefficient more accurately.SOLUTION: A data processing unit 10 which performs processing relating to calculation of a road surface friction coefficient is provided in a road surface friction coefficient calculation device 1 in FIG. 1. The data processing unit 10 is provided with: a control part 11 which performs overall control; a calculation part 12 which actually performs calculation processing of a road surface friction coefficient; and a storage part 13 which is a non-volatile memory or a hard disk which stores various data used for the calculation. In the calculation of the road surface friction coefficient in the calculation part 12, strain (deformation amount) data of a tire is used, and the data is recognized by a strain recognition part 14 and strain gauges 20A to 20D connected thereto. In the road surface friction coefficient calculation device 1, data of loads applied to the four tires are also used in the calculation, and the data are recognized by a load recognition part 15 and load sensors 21A to 21D connected thereto.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】路面摩擦係数をより正確に測定する。【解決手段】図1において、路面摩擦係数の算出に関わる処理を行うデータ処理ユニット10が設けられる。データ処理ユニット10には、全体の制御を行う制御部11、実際に路面摩擦係数の算出処理を行う演算部12、この算出に用いられる各種のデータを記憶する不揮発性メモリやハードディスクである記憶部13が設けられる。演算部12における路面摩擦係数の算出には、タイヤの歪(変形量)データが用いられ、このデータは、歪認識部14と、これに接続された歪ゲージ20A~20Dによって認識される。また、この路面摩擦係数算出装置1においては、この算出において4つのタイヤに印加された荷重のデータも用いられ、このデータは、荷重認識部15と、これに接続された荷重センサ21A~21Dによって認識される。【選択図】図1
