To provide a driving engine control system for a hybrid type vehicle, capable of improving fuel consumption even in a high-speed region by using both an engine and a motor.SOLUTION: There is provided a driving engine control system for a hybrid type vehicle which has a driving engine including an engine and a motor, and in which rotational power output from an output shaft of the driving engine is controlled. When the vehicle is cruising for a prescribed time, on the basis of prescribed input processing operation from an accelerator device, the driving engine control system switches from a normal mode for normal driving to a cruising mode of performing control to maintain a cruising speed for the cruising. Further, during the cruising mode, on the basis of prescribed processing operation of the accelerator device, the driving engine control system switches to an intermittent cruising mode of alternately stopping the engine and the motor with a prescribed period, and intermittently operating the engine or the motor while maintaining the cruising speed. As a result, the engine can be stopped periodically even in a high-speed region, so that fuel consumption can be improved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】エンジンとモータとを併用することによって、高速域においても、燃費の改善を図ることができるハイブリッド型車両の駆動機関の制御システムを提供する。【解決手段】エンジン及びモータを備えた駆動機関を有し、当該駆動機関の出力軸から出力される回転動力を制御するハイブリッド型車両の駆動機関制御システムは、車両が所定時間巡航しているとき、アクセル装置からの所定の入力処理操作に基づいて、通常走行に係る通常モードから当該巡航に係る巡航速度を保持する制御を行う巡航モードへ切り替え、さらに当該巡航モード中に、アクセル装置の所定の処理操作によって、エンジンとモータをそれぞれ所定の周期で交互に休止させて、エンジン又はモータをそれぞれ間欠的に動作させるとともに、前記巡航速度を保持する間欠巡航モードへ切り替えるようにした。そのため、高速域においてもエンジンを周期的に休止でき、燃費の改善を図ることができる。【選択図】図4
