To allow a cruising range to be extended for an electric vehicle that drives its wheels using respectively independent batteries, by controlling the drive so as to improve a balance of residual amounts of the batteries.SOLUTION: An electric vehicle has a plurality of batteries that are provided so as to correspond to its plurality of drive wheels respectively, and that supply power for driving the corresponding wheels. Residual amounts of the plurality of batteries are detected respectively, in order to reduce the driving force of a drive wheel corresponding to a battery with a low residual amount that has been selected according to the residual amount of each battery and determination conditions, whereas the driving force of a drive wheel mounted on the same side in a vehicle width direction as the drive wheel with the reduced driving force is increased, in performing drive control of the driving force of each drive wheel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車輪をそれぞれ独立したバッテリで駆動する電動車両において、各バッテリの残量のバランスがよくなるように駆動を制御することで、航続距離を延長することができるようにする。【解決手段】電動車両の複数の駆動輪のそれぞれに対応して設けられ、対応する駆動輪を駆動する電力を供給する複数のバッテリを有する。複数のバッテリそれぞれの残量を検出し、各バッテリの残量と判定条件とに基づいて選ばれた残量の少ないバッテリに対応する駆動輪の駆動力を減少させ、駆動力を減少させた駆動輪と車幅方向において同じ側に設置された駆動輪の駆動力を増加させるよう各駆動輪の駆動力を駆動制御する。【選択図】図1
