To provide a tire which has excellent balance between slip suppression performance on a snow road surface and slip suppression performance on an ice road surface.SOLUTION: A tread of a tire has: (1) a main groove 32 extending in a circumferential direction; (2) a plurality of blocks 48 each having sipes; and (3) a continuous lateral groove 40 which is positioned between the two blocks 48 in the circumferential direction and is continuous to the main groove 32. The lateral groove 40 has a minimum width W1 at a position separated from a boundary between the lateral groove 40 and the main groove 32, and has a width W2 larger than the minimum width W1 at the boundary. Preferably, a ratio (W2/W1) of the width W2 to the minimum width W1 is 1.2 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
