To provide a content reproduction device which can properly provide a content to a driver according to a situation of automatic driving.SOLUTION: A content reproduction device comprises: a calculation unit which calculates a control duration time that is duration of control at a current control level being one of a plurality of control levels of a travel control unit that controls travel of a vehicle; a selection unit which selects from a plurality of contents, a content whose reproduction required time required for reproduction is shorter than the control duration time; and a reproduction unit which causes an output device mounted on the vehicle to reproduce the selected content when the travel of the vehicle is controlled at the current control level.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
