PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide character information indicating a location extracted from a reproduction content in such a manner that a user can view it without shifting his/her visual line from a reproduced video.SOLUTION: A content reproduction device includes: a location information extraction part 106 for extracting character information indicating a location from meta data included in a content; a map information acquisition part 108 for acquiring map information corresponding to the character information indicating a selected location of the character information indicating the extracted location; a map screen generation part 115 for generating a map screen by drawing the acquired map information; a screen combination part 116 for superposing the generated map screen on a video screen and a meta data screen to combine them; and a display output part 109 for outputting a combined screen.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
