To provide a defogging device capable of achieving uniform temperature distribution in a field angle region of a camera.SOLUTION: A defogging device 15 includes a heater wire 20 which generates heat by energization to heat a windshield 11. The heater wire 20 includes a plurality of parallel portions 212, 213, and 214 which has longitudinal intermediate portions located inside a field angle region α serving as a region for capturing an image by a camera 12, and which are substantially parallel to each other. The plurality of parallel portions 212, 213, and 214 includes the two mutually adjacent parallel portions 212 and 213 which have longitudinal one ends connected to each other by connection portions 232 and 233 outside the field angle region α, but which have the other ends separated without being connected to each other. The other ends of the two mutually adjacent parallel portions 212 and 213 are connected to heat-quantity supplement portions 261 and 262 which are located outside the field angle region α and project toward sides of the adjacent counterpart parallel portions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
