To provide a liquid pressure generator that can effectively buffer an impact load from a shaft member that is returned backward when the device cannot be supplied with electric power during increase of liquid pressure of a brake, while being prevented from enlarging in size and increasing in weight.SOLUTION: In a liquid pressure generator, a buffer member 120 is arranged in a recessed part 107 formed in a cover member 25e so as to cover a rear side of a shaft member 25a. The buffer member 120 has an elastic body 122 made of rubber. The elastic body 122 has a main body part 122a that buffers a load applied backward to the buffer member 120 from the shaft member 25a, using elastic force based on compressive deformation between the shaft member 25a and a bottom surface 107a of the recessed part 107. Further, the elastic body 122 has a protrusion part 122b as a side part that buffers the load using resistance force based on contacting thereof with a side surface 107b of the recessed part 107.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11

    【課題】大型化および重量増加を抑制しつつ、ブレーキ液圧の昇圧中に電力が得られなくなった場合に後方へ戻されるシャフト部材からの衝撃荷重を効果的に緩和することができる液圧発生装置を提供する。【解決手段】液圧発生装置において、シャフト部材25aの後方を覆うように配置されたカバー部材25eに形成された凹部107に、緩衝部材120が配置されている。緩衝部材120は、ゴム製の弾性体122を有している。弾性体122は、シャフト部材25aから緩衝部材120に対して後方に向けて付加される荷重をシャフト部材25aと凹部107の底面107aとの間での圧縮変形に基づく弾発力によって緩和する本体部122aを有している。また、弾性体122は、前記荷重を凹部107の側面107bとの接触に基づく抵抗力によって緩和する側方部としての突起部122bを有している。【選択図】図11
