To provide an exhaust emission control system capable of reducing emissions of controlled substances in exhaust gas immediately after start of traveling while minimizing electric power consumption when a purification device is preheated.SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control system 30 includes: a DOC 33 and an SCR 36 each provided in an exhaust passage 32 of an internal combustion engine 61 driving a vehicle 1 and having a catalyst promoting a reaction for rendering specific substances in exhaust gas harmless; a DOC heater 43 and an SCR heater 44 heating the DOC 33 and the SCR 36 to activation temperatures enabling the catalysts to function or higher; and a control section 50 controlling the DOC heater 43 and the SCR heater 44. The exhaust emission control system also includes a start information acquisition section 51 acquiring start information 103 that is information on a start time of the vehicle 1 in the parking state. When the vehicle 1 is parked, the control section 50 predicts a start time from the start information 103 acquired by the start information acquisition section 51, and controls the DOC heater 43 and the SCR heater 44 immediately before the predicted start time, so as to raise the temperatures of the DOC 33 and the SCR 36 to the activation temperatures before the start time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
