To provide a vehicle travel route indication device that prevents a vehicle from becoming unable to travel in the inside of an engine drive limit section.SOLUTION: Vehicle control by a vehicle travel route indication device involves: causing, regarding a hybrid vehicle, the operation of an internal combustion engine to stop and the vehicle to be driven by an electric motor when it is assessed that the vehicle is currently traveling in the inside of an engine drive limit section; as well as searching for a shortest route leading from the current position to a boundary between the inside of the engine drive limit section and the outside of the engine drive limit section, adding information to the occupants of the vehicle when it is assessed that the SOC amount decreases to a preset assessment criterion value SOCZ when the vehicle is made to travel from the current position to the boundary via the searched shortest route, and guiding the vehicle from the current position to the boundary via the searched shortest route.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】機関駆動制限区域内で車両が走行し得なくなるのを防止する車両走行ルート指示装置を提供する。【解決手段】車両走行ルート指示装置による車両制御は、ハイブリッド車両において、現在車両が、内燃機関の駆動が制限されている機関駆動制限区域内を走行していると判別されたときには内燃機関の作動を停止させて電気モータにより車両を駆動させると共に、現在位置から機関駆動制限区域内と機関駆動制限区域外との境界に至る最短ルートを検索し、検索された最短ルートを経て現在位置から境界まで車両を走行させたときにSOC量が予め設定されている判別基準値SOCZまで低下すると判別されたときには、車両の搭乗者に対し情報を付与して、車両を現在位置から検索された最短ルートを経て境界まで誘導する。【選択図】図9
