To enable efficient acquisition of cross-sectional traffic volume data.SOLUTION: An estimation device disclosed herein comprises an acquisition unit configured to acquire location information from a terminal device mounted on a vehicle, and an estimation unit configured to estimate modes of travel of vehicles traveling through a given point during a given period based on the acquired location information, estimate the number of vehicles that traveled on a given road for each vehicle type, and efficiently acquire cross-sectional traffic volume data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
