To provide an automatic drive vehicle capable of preventing a traffic accident from happening due to a driver's use of a mobile device while driving.SOLUTION: An automatic drive vehicle which has a manual drive mode and an automatic drive mode in which the vehicle travels autonomously comprises: means for analyzing whether or not a driver has one hand or both hands off a steering wheel on the basis of an image captured by imaging means; start detection means for detecting an event that triggers the driver to start using a function of a mobile device in a traveling state under the manual drive mode; and a mode switching mode for switching from the manual drive mode to the automatic drive mode on the basis of detection results of the start detection means. The mode switching means switches from the manual drive mode to the automatic drive mode when it is detected as the trigger for the start of use that the driver has at least one hand off the steering wheel and another event is also detected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】運転者の運転中の携帯機器の使用に基づく交通事故を未然に防止することができる自動運転車を提供する。【解決手段】手動運転モードと、自律走行を行う自動運転モードとを備える自動運転車である。撮影手段の撮影画像に基づいて運転者が片手または両手をステアリングホイールから離しているか否かを解析する手段と、手動運転モードでの走行状態において、運転者による携帯機器の機能の利用開始のトリガーとなる事象を検出する開始検出手段と、開始検出手段の検出結果に基づいて手動運転モードから自動運転モードに切り替えるモード切替手段とを備える。モード切替手段は、利用開始のトリガーとなる事象として、運転者が少なくとも片手をステアリングホイールから離していることが検出され、かつ、それ以外の他の事象が検出された場合に、手動運転モードから自動運転モードに切り替える。【選択図】図1
