To provide a blockage bar breakage detection device, a crossing gate and a blockage bar breakage detection method which can detect the blockage bar breakage in a non-driven state.SOLUTION: A blockage bar breakage detection device 30 measures a holding current in a condition that a blockage bar 11 installed in a crossing gate 1 is in not drive condition and detects a breakage of the blockage bar 11 based on a change of the measured holding current. For example, a blockage bar breakage detection device 30 comprises a condition determination part 31 determining a drive condition of the blockage bar 11, a holding current detection part 32 detecting a holding current to hold the blockage bar 11 in an almost horizontal or vertical condition when the blockage bar 11 is determined as in not drive condition, a memory part 34 to store a reference value of the holding current, a breakage determination part 35 to determine a breakage of the blockage bar 11 when the holding current detected by the holding current detection part 32 drops lower than a threshold value against a reference value stored in a memory part 34 and an output part 36 to output a failure signal F when a breakage of the block bar 11 is determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】非駆動状態を保ったままで遮断桿の折損を検知できる遮断桿折損検知装置、遮断機及び遮断桿折損検知方法を提供する。【解決手段】遮断桿折損検知装置30は、遮断機1に備えられた遮断桿11が非駆動状態にあるときの保持電流を測定し、該測定した保持電流の変化に基づいて遮断桿11の折損を検知する。例えば、遮断桿折損検知装置30は、遮断桿11の駆動状態を判断する状態判断部31と、遮断桿11の非駆動状態が判断されたとき、遮断桿11を略水平状態又は略垂直状態に保持するための保持電流を検出する保持電流検出部32と、保持電流の基準値を記憶する記憶部34と、記憶部34に記憶された基準値に対して、保持電流検出部32で検出される保持電流が閾値以下に減少した場合に遮断桿11の折損を判定する折損判定部35と、遮断桿11の折損が判定されたときに故障信号Fを出力する出力部36と、を備える。【選択図】図2
