To provide an on-vehicle electronic control unit capable of continuing the operation of an actuator by specifying not only the presence/absence of occurrence of an abnormal condition that could be conventionally determined, but also contents of the abnormal condition.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle electronic control unit 1 is equipped with a control program portion 300 that software-controls an actuator 3, and a hardware F/B control portion 201 that hardware-controls the actuator 3 by being switched from the software control. The control program portion 300 determines that an abnormal condition occurs in a software control system when the operation of the actuator 3 is different from a target operation, specifies the abnormal condition occurring in the software control system, switches processing to the hardware F/B control portion 201, and continues the operation of the actuator 3 in a normal mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】従来、判定可能であった異常の発生有無だけでなく、異常の内容までをも特定し、アクチュエータの動作を継続させることが可能な車載電子制御ユニットを提供する。【解決手段】車載電子制御ユニット1は、アクチュエータ3をソフトウェア制御する制御プログラム部300と、ソフトウェア制御から切り替わって、アクチュエータ3をハードウェア制御するハードウェアF/B制御部201と、を備える。制御プログラム部300は、アクチュエータ3の動作が目標とする動作と異なる場合に、ソフトウェア制御系に異常が生じたと判定し、かつ、ソフトウェア制御系に生じた異常を特定し、ハードウェアF/B制御部201に処理を切り替え、通常モードでアクチュエータ3の動作を継続させる。【選択図】図1
