To correct the linearity errors of detection signal of a magnetic torque sensor with good accuracy.SOLUTION: A torque sensor 10 comprises: a permanent magnet 11 secured to a first end 160 side of a torsion bar 16; magnetism detection units (12, 13, 14a, 14b, 15) having magnetism detection elements (151a, 151b) for detecting the magnetic flux generated from the permanent magnet 11 and secured to a second end 161 side of the torsion bar; and storage units 155a, 155b in which are stored first calibration data 155a for calibrating the detection signal of the magnetism detection element 151a when the direction of rotation of the second end 161 relative to the first end 160 is a first direction and second calibration data 155b for calibrating the detection signal of the magnetism detection element 151b when the relative direction of rotation is a second direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
