To provide a method and device for predicting a route of a traffic participant, and a sensor system.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a computer execution method for predicting a route of a traffic participant. Sensor data acquired by at least one vehicle sensor is received in a plurality of acquisition time. A value of at least one motion parameter of the traffic participant is detected for each acquisition time on the basis of the received sensor data. A route of the traffic participant is predicted by using a stochastic regression algorithm obtained by inputting the detected value of the at least one motion parameter of the traffic participant.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
