To provide a steering damper capable of preventing invasion of foreign matters into a communication passage included in a piston.SOLUTION: A steering damper 10 includes: a damping force adjustment part 20 for adjusting a damping force by electrically controlling a distribution form of a fluid flowing in from a cylinder 30; a piston 50 having a communication passage 55 that partitions the inside of the cylinder 30 into a first chamber 33 and a second chamber 34 and communicates between the first chamber 33 and the second chamber 34; and a lamination valve 90 including a plurality of valves 91 laminated to cover an opening part on the first chamber 33 side of the communication passage 55. A separated distance δ between a first end surface 51 and the lamination valve 90 is smaller than a diameter d2 of a second communication part 55b opened in the second chamber 34.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
