To obtain an accurate stiffness value without the effect of hysteresis.SOLUTION: Clamp means 30, which comprises a plurality of center clamps 32 arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of a tire T mounted to a tire support shaft 16, and shoulder clamps 34 arranged on both sides in the width direction of the tire, restrains a tread surface in the tire radial direction and a shoulder portion in the tire width direction. By relatively displacing the tire support shaft 16 and the clamp means 30 so as to deform the tire T, the stiffness of the tire T is measured. During the measurement, the stiffness value of the tire T is calculated using measured values in sections S1, S3 in which the absolute value of the amount of relative displacement increases, rather than sections S2, S4 in which the absolute value of the amount of relative displacement decreases.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
【課題】ヒステリシスの影響を受けずに精度のよい剛性値を求める。【解決手段】タイヤ支持軸16に取り付けられたタイヤTに対して、タイヤ周方向に等間隔で配置された複数のセンタークランプ32とそのタイヤ幅方向両側に配置されたショルダークランプ34とを備えるクランプ手段30により、トレッド面をタイヤ径方向に拘束するとともにショルダー部をタイヤ幅方向に拘束し、タイヤ支持軸16とクランプ手段30とを相対変位させることでタイヤTを変形させてタイヤTの剛性を測定する。その際、相対変位の変位量の絶対値が増加する区間S1,S3及び減少する区間S2,S4のうち増加する区間S1,S3の測定値を用いてタイヤTの剛性値を算出する。【選択図】図8
