To provide a railway wheel shape measuring device capable of accurately measuring the roundness of a tread in a railway wheel in a traveling state.SOLUTION: The railway wheel shape measuring device of the present disclosure includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire a plurality of divided shapes obtained by dividing a tread surface in the circumferential direction by irradiating with a laser beam the tread surface in contact with a rail of a railway wheel, and a calculation unit configured to calculate the roundness of the tread from the plurality of divided shapes and an average shape obtained by averaging the plurality of divided shapes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
