To provide a collision prevention system for avoiding and preventing a collision between a bicycle or the like and an automobile, in which a configuration for communication is simple and downsizing and weight saving are achieved so as to facilitate mounting on a bicycle or the like due to actuation with low power consumption.SOLUTION: A collision prevention system includes: an optical communication transmission device 10 to be mounted on a bicycle 1; and an optical communication reception device 20 to be mounted on an automobile 2. The transmission device 10 includes a light emitting part 13 for emitting light 4 on which information indicating that the light is being emitted from the bicycle 1 is superimposed.
