To provide a work machine and a method for detecting fatigue of a work machine, which can accurately estimate and notify the amount of wear of a swivel bearing.SOLUTION: A work machine comprises a lower traveling body, an upper swivel body, and a swivel device including a swivel bearing, and has a first gyro sensor provided on the lower traveling body, a second gyro sensor provided on the upper swivel body, a notification device, and a controller. The controller includes a relative displacement calculation unit that calculates the relative displacement between the first gyro sensor and the second gyro sensor, a notification control unit, and a deterioration degree estimation unit (57) that estimates the fatigue state of the swivel bearing based on the relative displacement calculated by the relative displacement calculation unit. The notification control unit notifies the fatigue state of the swivel bearing estimated by the deterioration degree estimation unit (S40) in a predetermined notification mode according to the notification control steps (S60, S70).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
