To provide a windshield capable of suppressing reduction of visibility even when a wedge shaped glass plate is used.SOLUTION: The windshield comprises: a first glass plate 1 having a first plane 101 and a second plane 102; a second glass plate 2 having a first plane 201 and a second plane 202, and being arranged so that, the first plane 201 thereof and the second plane of the first glass plate face each other; and an intermediate film 3 held between the first and second glass plates. The first and second glass plates comprise respectively: a first end part 11, 21; and a second end part 12, 22 facing the first end part. At least one of the first and second glass plates is so configured that a cross section thereof is formed into a wedge shape so that a thickness is varied from the first end part to the second end part. When the windshield is fitted to the vehicle, the first glass plate, the second glass plate, and the intermediate film are configured so that, first end parts thereof form an upper side provided at an upper side, the second end parts thereof form a lower side which is arranged on a lower side and is longer than the upper side, and a curvature radius of the upper side on a horizontal direction is greater than a curvature radius of the lower side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
