To provide a method by which an unmanned carrier is made to travel at a prescribed speed in a prescribed direction even when one of the carrier's driving wheels fails.SOLUTION: Driving devices 11-14 are connected to a vehicle body of an unmanned carrier through common fixing shafts 31-34 and the devices comprise wheels 20A and 20B which have a common center shaft, outer rotor type motors 21A and 21B arranged in inner diameter parts of the wheels 20A and 20B respectively and inverter circuits 22A and 22B driving the outer rotor type motors 21A and 21B respectively. When the inverter circuit 22A or the outer rotor type motor 21A fails, the unmanned carrier is made to travel at a prescribed speed and in a prescribed direction by rotating the wheel 20B using the inverter circuit 22 B and the outer rotor type motor 21B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】駆動輪の一つが故障した場合であっても、無人搬送車を所定の方向に所定の速度で移動させる。【解決手段】駆動装置11〜14は、共通の固定用シャフト31〜34を介して無人搬送車の車体に連結され、共通の中心軸を有する車輪20A,20Bと、車輪20A,20Bの内径部にそれぞれ配置されたアウターローター型モーター21A,21Bと、アウターローター型モーター21A,21Bをそれぞれ駆動するインバーター回路22A,22Bを備える。そして、インバーター回路22A又はアウターローター型モーター21Aが故障した場合、インバーター回路22B及びアウターローター型モーター21Bを用いて車輪20Bを回転させることにより、無人搬送車を所定の方向に所定の速度で移動させることができる。【選択図】図2
