To provide a defrosting method of an outdoor heat exchanger capable of suppressing degradation of heat exchange performance in a short time, of the outdoor heat exchanger in restarting a heating operation after termination of a defrosting operation.SOLUTION: In a defrosting method of an outdoor heat exchanger, a fan having a first air blow direction for sending air outside a cabin to the outdoor heat exchanger so that the air passes therethrough and a second air blow direction opposite to the first air blow direction, and switching the first and second air blow directions in heating/cooling, is arranged so as to be aligned with the outdoor heat exchanger in an air ventilating direction in advance. When frost formation on the outdoor heat exchanger is detected in a heating operation, the fan sending air in the first air blow direction is stopped, then a defrosting operation for allowing a refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure to flow to the outdoor heat exchanger is performed to melt the frost attached to the outdoor heat exchanger, and the fan is operated in a state that the air blow direction is the second air blow direction, after detection of completion of the defrosting, so that defrost water on a surface of the outdoor heat exchanger is scattered.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】除霜運転終了後の暖房運転再開時における室外熱交換器の短時間での熱交換性能の低下を抑制しうる室外熱交換器の除霜方法を提供する。【解決手段】室外熱交換器の除霜方法は、予め、冷暖房時に車室外空気を室外熱交換器に送って室外熱交換器を通過させる第1送風方向および第1送風方向とは逆向きの第2送風方向を有し、かつ両送風方向が切り換えられるファンを、室外熱交換器に対して通風方向に並ぶように配置しておく。そして、暖房運転時に室外熱交換器への着霜を検出した際に、第1送風方向に空気を送っているファンを停止させた後、高温高圧冷媒を室外熱交換器に流す除霜運転を行って室外熱交換器に付着した霜を溶かし、霜の解霜が完了したことを検出した後に送風方向が第2送風方向となるようにファンを作動させて、室外熱交換器表面の解霜水を飛散させることを含む。【選択図】図4
