To provide an air-cooling type battery cooling device which can cool a battery efficiently without deteriorating air conditioning performance in a passenger compartment.SOLUTION: The invention is a vehicular battery cooling device. In a vehicle mounted with a battery 2 for driving, the vehicle battery cooling device includes: a battery housing part (a battery capsule 3) which houses the battery 2; an outside air introduction passage 4 which introduces air at the outside of the vehicle as outside air; a heat exchanger 5 which cools air introduced into the outside air introduction passage 4; a first air conditioning passage 6 for communicating with the heat exchanger 5 and a passenger compartment 10 and supplying air cooled by the heat exchanger 5 to the passenger compartment 10; a second air conditioning passage 7 for communicating with the heat exchanger 5 and the battery housing part and supplying air cooled by the heat exchanger 5 to the battery housing part; a first discharge passage 8 which discharges air in the passenger compartment 10 to the outside of the vehicle; and a second discharge passage 9 which discharges air in the battery housing part to the outside of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
