To provide a vehicular battery cooling system capable of improving the cooling performance of a battery while reducing the drive frequency of a cooling fan.SOLUTION: In a vehicular battery cooling system 10, a battery 20 can be cooled by supplying air in a vehicle cabin 30 to a battery chamber 25 by a cooling fan 22. The system 10 includes: a battery temperature sensor 53; a vehicle cabin temperature sensor 52; a discharge path 44 for allowing the vehicle cabin 30, the battery chamber 25, and the outside of a vehicle to communicate with each other; a circulation path 46 for allowing air to circulate between the vehicle cabin 30 and the battery chamber 25; switching means 48 for switching between the paths 44 and 46; and an ECU 58 for actuating the switching means 48. When the vehicle cabin 30 satisfies a prescribed pressurization condition, and a temperature of the battery 20 is within a prescribed low cooling range, the ECU 58 selects the discharge path in a case where the temperature of the battery 20 is higher than a temperature in the vehicle cabin 30, and selects the circulation path 46 in a case where the temperature of the battery 20 is lower than the temperature in the vehicle cabin 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
