To provide a vehicular lock device that can avoid generation of unpleasant noise while suppressing solenoid heat generation.SOLUTION: The vehicular lock device includes: a solenoid 5 which has a plunger movable between a lock position where a lock component is locked and a release position where the lock is released and which can move the plunger from the lock position to the release position upon energization; and a control unit 13 which can control the energizing timing by repeatedly turning on and off the solenoid at a predetermined frequency, and in which the frequency can be set arbitrarily according to an output time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
