To provide a technique which enables a railroad vehicle pantograph to reliably hold a power generation coil.SOLUTION: A power supply device 200 is mounted on a pantograph 1 of a railroad vehicle 300 receiving power supply through an AC feeder system. The power supply device 200 comprises a power generation coil 210 which generates power through electromagnetic induction using a change in a magnetic field due to alternate current flowing in a power line 90 for supplying power collected from an overhead electric wire OW through the pantograph 1 to a drive power supply device of the railroad vehicle 300. The power generation coil 210 is installed on an insulator 70A which supports a frame 10 of the pantograph 1 on an upper surface of the railroad vehicle 300 and has a through hole allowing the power line 90 to pass therethrough.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B
