To increase the resolution in a rotation axis direction independent of the size of a sensor.SOLUTION: A tire grounding characteristic measuring device comprises: a cylindrical rotating drum that is rotatable around a rotation shaft; drum driving means that drives to rotate the rotating drum around the rotation shaft; first stress measuring means that is embedded in a cylindrical surface of the rotating drum and measures a stress applied to a tire in contact with the cylindrical surface of the rotating drum; second stress measuring means that is embedded at a position different from the position at which the first stress measuring means is embedded in the cylindrical surface of the rotating drum in a circumferential direction in which the rotating drum rotates, and measures the stress applied to the tire in contact with the cylindrical surface of the rotating drum; a processor that calculates tire grounding characteristics being the characteristics in a ground area of a tread surface of the tire in contact with the rotating drum based on the stress measured by the first stress measuring means and the stress measured by the second stress measuring means; and an output device that outputs the tire grounding characteristics calculated by the processor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
