To obtain excellent control performance without causing an increase in the size of an entire device and a rise in the cost of a product and without causing a delay in an antilock brake control in a μ jump from a low μ road to a high μ road.SOLUTION: In a case where a wheel having a locking tendency is detected when a driver depresses a brake pedal 7, an estimated pressure on a downstream side of a pump 24 (pump downstream pressure) and a brake liquid pressure from a master cylinder 4 side (master pressure) detected by a master pressure sensor 43 are compared (S18) to return, from a return passage side to a master cylinder 4, a brake liquid pressure of a wheel cylinder provided on this wheel. In a case where the pump downstream pressure is equal to or lower than the master pressure, a required boost pressure for reducing a boost pressure is transmitted to a booster control unit 51, and the master pressure is decreased by a decrease of the boost pressure to reduce a load applied to a pump motor 27.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4

    【課題】装置全体の大型化、及び製品コストの高騰を招くことがなく、更に、低μ路から高μ路へのμジャンプにおいてアンチロックブレーキ制御に遅れが生じることがなく、良好な制御性能を得ることができるようにする。【解決手段】運転者がブレーキペダル7を踏込んだ際に、ロック傾向にある車輪が検出された場合、当該車輪に設けられているホイールシリンダのブレーキ液圧を還流路側からマスタシリンダ4に還流させるに際し、推定したポンプ24の下流側の圧力(ポンプ下流圧)とマスタ圧センサ43で検出したマスタシリンダ4側からのブレーキ液圧(マスタ圧)とを比較し(S18)、ポンプ下流圧がマスタ圧以下の場合、ブースタ制御部51に対して、ブースト圧を減圧する要求ブースト圧を送信し、ブースト圧の低下によりマスタ圧を低下させて、ポンプモータ27にかかる負荷を軽減する。【選択図】図4
