PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase brake liquid pressure of brake liquid in a wheel brake by an intended pressure increase rate.SOLUTION: A vehicular brake liquid pressure control device comprises a control part 100 which controls a normally-open type proportional solenoid valve (inlet valve 1) and normally-closed type solenoid valve (outlet valve 2) for increasing brake liquid pressure of brake liquid in a wheel brake. The control part 100 comprises: increase amount setting means 111 for setting an increase amount of the brake liquid pressure for unit time; necessary flow rate calculation means 114 for calculating a necessary flow rate of the brake liquid which is required for increasing the brake liquid pressure of the brake liquid in the wheel brake by the increase amount, based on the characteristic of pressure loss of the wheel brake and the increase amount; differential pressure calculation means 103 for calculating differential pressure of upper and lower flows of the normally-open type proportional solenoid valve; and drive current setting means 113 for setting drive current of the normally-open type proportional solenoid valve. The drive current setting means 113 sets the drive current using a preset map or function which are preset for associating the necessary flow rate, differential pressure, and drive current.
