To suppress a secondary failure of an air compressor provided in a fuel cell system during evacuation running when a converter for a secondary battery fails.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system installed in a vehicle includes a fuel battery, a secondary battery, a load including a drive motor and an air compressor, a converter for the fuel battery, a converter for the secondary battery, a failure detection unit, a first state determination unit for determining a first state where an actual running direction and a required running direction of the vehicle are not coincident with each other, a reverse rotation detection unit for detecting reverse rotation of an air compressor, and a control unit. The control unit performs evacuation running control for supplying electric power from the secondary battery to the drive motor when the converter for the secondary battery fails. When the vehicle is not in the first state, regeneration of the drive motor is prohibited, and when the vehicle is in the first state, the air compressor is energized with a reactive current to consume regenerative power of the drive motor. When reverse rotation is detected during energization of the reactive current, subsequent energization of the reactive current is not performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】二次電池用コンバータの故障時の退避走行時における、燃料電池システムの備えるエアコンプレッサの二次故障を抑制する。【解決手段】車両に搭載される燃料電池システムは、燃料電池、二次電池、駆動モータ及びエアコンプレッサを含む負荷、燃料電池用コンバータ、二次電池用コンバータ、故障検出部、車両の実走行方向と要求走行方向とが一致しない状態である第1状態を判定する第1状態判定部、エアコンプレッサの逆回転を検出する逆回転検出部、制御部を備える。制御部は、二次電池用コンバータの故障時に二次電池から駆動モータに電力を供給する退避走行制御を行う。第1状態でない場合には駆動モータの回生を禁止し、第1状態である場合にはエアコンプレッサに無効電流を通電して駆動モータの回生電力を消費させ、無効電流の通電時に逆回転が検出された場合には、以降における無効電流の通電を行わない。【選択図】図1
