A vehicle-installed battery charging system according to the present invention is provided with a battery charging device for setting the order of vehicles in which batteries are charged when charging of the batteries of a plurality of vehicles is requested, and charging the batteries of the vehicles in accordance with the order.The battery charging device charges a battery of a vehicle that is currently charging the battery, when a charging speed correlation value, which is one of a charging speed of the battery of the vehicle and an index related to the charging speed, indicates that the charging speed becomes equal to or less than a predetermined charging speed threshold value. And ending the charging of the battery ofthe charging vehicle, wherein the charging starting sequence is the charging of the battery of the next vehicle.
