To achieve both of weight reduction of a handlebar for a saddle-riding vehicle and reduction in rider fatigue.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a handlebar pipe for a saddle-riding type vehicle comprises: a step (A) of preparing a tubular workpiece formed from a metal material; a step (B) of performing machining for making outer diameters of regions to be formed into a first grip part and a second grip part in the workpiece, smaller than an outer diameter of a region to be formed into an attachment part; a step (C) of performing solution treatment to the workpiece after the step (B); and a step (D) of bending the workpiece after the step (C).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
