To provide a steering angle control device capable of improving problems such as hunting caused by a dead zone area while suppressing increase in costs by adopting a motor with a brush.SOLUTION: A steering angle control device 10 of the present invention includes an EPS motor 30, a steering angle sensor 12, and an EPS-ECU 4. In the steering angle sensor 12, a dead zone area is formed by a backlash C between two gears. The EPS-ECU 4 is capable of executing a dead zone area detecting process, an estimated present steering angle deriving process, and an updating process.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】本発明は、ブラシ付きモータを採用してコストを抑制しつつ、不感帯領域に起因するハンチング等の問題を改善することができる舵角制御装置の提供を目的とした。【解決手段】本発明の舵角制御装置10は、EPSモータ30と、舵角センサ12と、EPS−ECU4とを有し、舵角センサ12には、二つのギアの間のバックラッシュCにより不感帯領域が形成されるものであり、EPS−ECU4が、不感帯領域検出処理と、推定現舵角導出処理と、更新処理とを実行可能であることを特徴とする。【選択図】図1
