To provide a retrofittable device which optimizes an object for automatic stop to human and mainly involves intervention of an accelerator pedal in order to suppress a person from being hit (a physical injury) due to runway of a traveling body such as an automobile caused by overstepping of an accelerator pedal, which has been a social problem in recent years.SOLUTION: An image in a traveling direction of a traveling body is acquired by a camera 11. Person detection and joint position information extraction processing for the person are performed on the acquired image by a device 12. Processing for obtaining a distance between the traveling body and the person is performed from information on presence/absence of a joint of the person in the image or pixel information among joints with a device 13 by using the obtained joint position information. External devices 15, 16, and 17 are controlled by a device 14 in accordance with the obtained distance information. The external device 15 prevents overstepping of an accelerator pedal by depressing back the accelerator pedal and guides a driver of the traveling body so as to switch from the accelerator pedal to a brake pedal by alerting the driver from a reaction feeling of the pedal.     【課題】近年、社会問題化しているアクセルペダル過剰踏み込みを原因とした、自動車など走行物体の暴走による人はね(人身事故)を抑制するための、自動停止対象を人に最適化し、かつアクセルペダルへの介入を主とする、後付け可能な装置を提供する。【解決手段】走行物体の進行方向の画像をカメラ11で取得する。取得画像に対して装置12で人検知と該人の関節位置情報抽出処理を行う。得た関節位置情報を使い装置13で画像中の人の関節の有無情報あるいは関節間の画素情報から、該走行物体と該人の距離を得る処理を行う。得た距離情報に応じて装置14で外部装置15、16、17を制御する。外部装置15はアクセルペダルを押し戻すことでアクセルの過剰踏み込みを防止し、かつ該ペダルの反発感覚から走行物体の運転者に気づきを促すことでブレーキペダルに踏み替えるように誘導する。これら構成装置は容易に後付けできる構造を有する。【選択図】図1
