To provide a technique enabling execution of drive force suppression control at proper timing by accurately determining misoperation of an acceleration operation element.SOLUTION: A vehicle control device executes drive force suppression control if prescribed misoperation conditions are satisfied. The vehicle control device determines that the misoperation conditions are satisfied when: a first condition including at least an operation speed condition is satisfied, under which an operation speed (APV) being a change amount per unit time of an operation amount (AP) of an acceleration operation element is equal to a prescribed operation speed threshold (APVth) or more; and a second condition is satisfied, under which an operation amount of the acceleration operation element is equal to a prescribed first operation amount threshold (APth1) or more, within a prescribed first time threshold (Tath) from a time point when the first condition is satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6

    【課題】加速操作子の誤操作を精度良く判定し、適切なタイミングで駆動力抑制制御を実行することが可能な技術を提供する。【解決手段】車両制御装置は、所定の誤操作条件が成立した場合に、駆動力抑制制御を実行する。車両制御装置は、加速操作子の操作量(AP)の単位時間当たりの変化量である操作速度(APV)が所定の操作速度閾値(APVth)以上であるとの操作速度条件を少なくとも含む第1条件が成立し、且つ、当該第1条件が成立した時点から所定の第1時間閾値(Tath)以内に、加速操作子の操作量が所定の第1操作量閾値(APth1)以上になるとの第2条件が成立したとき、誤操作条件が成立したと判定する。【選択図】図6
