To provide a battery temperature adjustment system of an industrial vehicle that can be charged with electric power at preset charge timing and can surely avoid a function from being restricted at a charging time.SOLUTION: A battery temperature adjustment system of an industrial vehicle comprises: a battery mounted on a vehicle body; a battery controller that controls charge/discharge of the battery; a battery temperature adjustment device that performs an adjustment of temperatures of the battery; and a temperature controller that controls the battery temperature adjustment device on the basis of the temperatures of the battery. In the battery controller, a function restriction temperature Th for restricting a function of the battery and a pre-charging target temperature Tu lower than a target temperature Tt for the battery at which a discharge state becomes optimal are set. The battery controller obtains next charging timing tc during discharge of the battery. The temperature controller controls the battery temperature adjustment device so that the temperature of the battery is equal to the pre-charging target temperature Tu for a period of time from pre-charging timing tb earlier by a predetermined time than the charging timing tc to the charging timing tc.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
